In an exciting business project between ºÚÁÏÍø and , the official tourism organisation for the city of Cologne, a group of students analysed the online performance of °Ã¶±ô²Ô°Õ´Ç³Ü°ù¾±²õ³¾³Ü²õ’ online shop. Some students of the Master programmes Digital Marketing, International Tourism Management and Bachelor programmes Digital Media Management and International Tourism Management took a close look at the shop of °Ã¶±ô²Ô°Õ´Ç³Ü°ù¾±²õ³¾³Ü²õ. After analysing the shop they made suggestions for optimizing the digital marketing concept of the Köln Shop – with a strong focus on search engine marketing and social media marketing.
Business project led to internship offers
At the finale of the project, the students presented their results to Ulrich Weigel, Daniel Letocha and Jan Joachimsmeier from °Ã¶±ô²Ô°Õ´Ç³Ü°ù¾±²õ³¾³Ü²õ and Prof Julia Maintz and Hanno Martens from the Cologne Business School.
The students kept their good work quality during the presentation: The representatives of °Ã¶±ô²Ô°Õ´Ç³Ü°ù¾±²õ³¾³Ü²õ were impressed, so that some of the student strategies will be actually implemented. Two of the students directly received an internship in order to make progess with the search engine optimization of the shop.
